Dr. Barbolla started her academic career as the first person to enter the B.A./D.O. program through the University of North Texas and the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Wendy has 30+ years in nursing, which includes primary care, hospital, home care, hospice, and psychiatric-based care. Wendy completed her graduate studies at the University of Texas at Tyler and Nurse Practitioner Program through Walden University.
